Recap:
Woke up at 8:30am...that's the thing about living 45 mins away from everything and everyone, you lose that additional hour or so of valuable sleep in the morning... ah well, no complaints here, we had plans to hit up Macau!
Big breakfast for a big day: oatmeal and the other Chinese meal necessities...and of course, milk tea.
After struggling for so long trying to buy the ferry tickets to Macau and barely making it through customs in time, we were finally on our way.
Our ride.
Video of us boarding on the ferry. I was trying to show how rocky the ferry was but you can't really tell due to my terrible filming abilities... essentially every time I swore was because I lost my balance from the swaying.

Despite the ride being ridiculously rocky (stomach was turning like no tomorrow), we were all able to knock out and catch some zzz's.
An hour and 15 mins later, we have arrived in Macau!!
Corolla Nation taxis, stand UP!
We were all starving coming off the ferry, so we decided to hit up a cafe spot well-known for their pork chop buns and milk tea.
Large coke bottle outside the cafe
The cafe's menu. Like I said, they're serious about their pork chop buns.
Bottled VitaSoy. I'm not sure why Huang was so excited about these and tricked Wendy and Wayne into getting them too, but they tasted just like regular stuff to me...
Pork chop bun with "traditional" Chinese milk tea. SO GOOD! 8.5/10 rating for the whole meal.
And now...for some serious serious milk tea failing :S
After that delicious lunch, we decided to walk around the streets and enjoy the tourist areas.
Not really sure what those lantern things mean, but I just know there were like a million of them on that street.
That's not inappropriate at all...
Apparently, Macau is really famous for their Portuguese custard tarts, or "po tat" as we call it in Canto. It's similar to an egg tart, except for a few differences. According to Wendy's explanation, it's "an egg tart...but po" haha very descriptive. Although we didn't actually buy it from this store, we bought some after.
Yes, it was quite bomb.
We then visited the world-famous St. Paul's Ruins (Old Church of Mater Dei)
The description of St. Paul's Ruins. It's crazy because this thing (or what's left of it) went through THREE fires...
The view from the top of the steps
Me at St. Paul's
The view of the streets from one of St. Paul's windows
Some more walking around the streets
These moped things were everrrywhere.
Wayne then made the decision to go bungee jumping off the world's tallest tower in the Macau Tower, so off we went to witness his adventure!
The daredevil posing with his $2,500HKD ($350CAD) ticket.
Footage:
Off we went to ToysRUs to re-acquaint ourselves with our childhoods while waiting for Wayne
Find the grim reaper.
Went outside (underneath the Macau Tower) to wait for Wayne's decent
The tip of the tower...*pause*
Confirmation of the world's highest bungy.
Victory pose in front of the Macau bridge
Still waiting...
Still waiting....oh wait, "oh shit it IS Wayne!!" haha

Since the Macau Tower was tall as hellll, it was unbelievably hard to see who the actual jumper was. Everyone essentially looked the same until they were close enough to the ground to spot the differences. Hence, we fully missed Wayne's once-in-a-lifetime jump...we only realized it was him AFTER he had already bounced back up. Sorry Wayne!
Footage of Wayne's reaction after the jump (for actual footage of the jump, go to Huang's blog):
Post-bungee celebration!
Yes'r, a new man!
Sick sick sick. Wayne, I give you serious daps for that man. If only I could afford it, I'd definitely be up there with you...
The rest of the night was spent at the casinos where we had a monstrous buffet dinner and some of us gambled our lives away (*ahem* Huang ).
Sickest buffet ever! So much variety and the food was unbelievable.
Plate #1
Plate #2
I thought this was so clever
Gotta have the fondue
Plates #3&4
Plates #5&6....is it messed up that 4/6 my dinner plates were for desserts? Hmm nah, I gots this.
All in all, a good trip to Macau. Planning to come back when I become stanky-rich, which should be soon according to my timetable. Yeaup, right on schedule....
