Recap:
After I slept in until 2:30pm, I decided to finally have lunch and explore my surrounding Tsuen Wan area.
Lunch: BBQ pork and roast duck in noodles, and milk tea.
Found an arcade in a nearby mall, and I FINALLY found the game I've been looking for since I've been back: Battle Gear 4. A very intense and realistic racing game. Challenge extended to Huang...
Saw a bunch of other random things in different shops inside the nearby mall:
Lazy Spideys
Love that green thing haha
Met up with my dad around 6pm to shop around at "Flower" street. Highly recommend shoppers to go there if you want cheap stuff.
Cool floor mats.
Sick child costumes haha
Saw this tee. It's nothing special, but it's an inside joke that only certain people will get...
Once the original plan to watch a Chinese movie flopped due to the seats being sold out (thank God...never thought I'd ever pay to watch a Chinese movie haha), Sean, Wayne, Jen, and I just decided to chill around the IFC patio and enjoy the night scenery.
"Romantic" place for sure. We came to this "wishing" fountain thing and Wayne and I decided to toss in a coin for good luck and to have a wish fulfilled:
Wayne: I hope one love comes back to me within the next year. Oh man that's a big wish.
Me: No, that's a waste of money.
Currently the tallest building in HK. I say currently because I think a taller building is in the process of being built.
One of several outdoor patio bars at IFC. Definitely need to chill here one time before we leave.
Great view.
Hard at work.
View of the other side of HK. The less-wealthy side aka the side Wayne, Sean, and I are on haha
Photographer Go.
Good spot to bring your significant other. Too bad it was 4 single people. Depressing much?
And the photo-posing begins!
"hk"
Wayne and Jen's attempt to make a heart.
We then decided to walk around Central courtesy of tour guide Yik.
But not before a stop at McD's for a fresh cone! And believe it or not, this only costs $2.50HKD = $0.30CAD!!! Be careful Wayne, you may have competition for the Big Buddha title!! Haha I kid I kid, you won that title a long time ago :(
Pretty cool Red Bull ad.
Tomorrow is another day. Goodnight peeps.
Challenge ACCEPTED!
ReplyDeleteThe ifc area is gorgeous! However, like you said - depressing for single peeps. LOL. You guys should check out the area that my bro lives at: Civic Square/Kowloon Station area upstairs from Elements. It's pretty gorgeous there too. View of the harbour isn't as nice though.
ReplyDeleteBen so many inappropriate things you have put up on here. But I'll let it slide since I've been a bigger dick to you then you'll ever have :p
ReplyDeleteAlso I have moved and don't live in the "less-wealthy side" anymore, "bitch"! lol
