Reeecap Time:
Lunch and electronics shopping with my dad at Sham Shui Po.
My dad loves this place, but as you can see from the pic of the noodles, it seems pretty plain to me. Meh, I've had better...
Random things that I saw along the way:
People here love their Super Mario man, I've seen enough of these everywhere. Btw, anyone else like Luigi over Mario?
Cool iPhone cover
webcams
At night, it was Peak time!!
Due to the China National Day, everyone in China gets a week off from work/school. So what do you know, everyone headed down to HK. Choosing a Sunday to go to the Peak + China holiday = waited in line for the Tram for over an hour....
Waiting for the Tram ride up. Definitely feeling the effects of the 1+ billion Chinese people in the world haha. That and the 2 white people in the bottom right of the picture...must suck for them...
Some store at the Peak.
Even the wait to go back DOWN the mountain is retardedly packed...
The "peak" of the Peak where you can supposedly get the best view for another $20. Screwww that, we on a student budget son! That and we gotta save money for desserts baby!
Regardless of where we stood, the view of the city was absolutely breath-taking. Combined with the cool weather that night (felt wind for the first time in 11 days...forgot how good it felt haha), it was the perfect setting! For those that don't know, my "camera" for the trip has been my iPhone. Obviously the quality of my pics aren't the best compared with a real camera, so I posted a pic that I took and one from Sean's camera. Can you tell which one is iPhone and which one is not? haha the difference isn't thaaat much now is it?....Who am I kidding, the camera on the iPhone sucks....
My attempt to take a pic of that lion statue "overlooking" the city. Deep stuff I know...
Dinner at Tsui Wah Restaurant (I love how I say the name like I know how to read Chinese haha). Price: expensive. Quality: low-medium. Overall: 1.5/5 Lambo Stars. But it's at a tourist location, so ehh what can you expect.
Look at those chickens just chilling ready to be cooked.
My dinner: baked pork chop rice with lemon tea. Ehhhh
Couple #1
Couple #2...wait...#NoHomo
A little creepy, but I had to take a pic of this kid. He was enjoying food so much it was hilarious. Go back and forth between the two pics. His eyes are glaring at that piece of chicken! And when his mom finally feeds it to him, he closes his eyes to enjoy the texture haha. Guess you really do enjoy the simple things when you're a kid huh...
After some more photo-taking after dinner, we then hit up Madame Tussauds wax museum.
Random photos follow [for more and better quality pics, visit Sean's Facebook album]:
Astro Boy definitely is amongst the greats haha
Long live the King!
Still jamming to this day yes'rrr!
We all seem to want a piece of Beyonce...DIBS!
Women aren't objects, Huang....that's just disrespectful...gosh.
Funny/monster quotes:
Dog: Watch your tripod Sean, it's close to MY tripod.
Wayne: Oh you're tired? Let's be a Spartan and race around the mountain!
Ben: Spartans don't race. Spartans move mountains.
K I'll update more later if I remember more.
